Donna Stoering is an award-winning recording artist, concert pianist, educator, composer, vocal soloist, choral conductor, keynote speaker, producer and social entrepreneur who has served as Artistic Ambassador for both the UK and USA to countries worldwide. Founder of the award-winning global nonprofit ListenForLife.org and a protégé of the late Sir Georg Solti, she has been the subject of special programs on the BBC, Hong Kong Radio & TV, Brazilian national television, RAI (Italy), NPR and PBS stations, and the national networks of many other countries.
While a Marshall Scholar, Donna was appointed head of the piano department at the University of York at age 20, and later served as Artist in Residence at Oxford University for several years. Alongside this work, she continued to perform solo and chamber music recitals, as well as concerti with orchestras, worldwide. She also continues to enjoy performing as a collaborative pianist with major instrumental soloists and renowned opera stars of La Scala, Munich Opera, the Royal Opera, the Bolshoi, and the Met. Donna has given numerous premieres of both piano and vocal works, she has adjudicated for national and international competition juries, and enjoys giving masterclasses and pedagogy workshops to universities, music schools and piano teachers' associations throughout the globe.
